My stay at Sea Containers London was a blend of comfortable accommodations and stunning views, but there were some service hiccups that marred the experience. The river view room was absolutely amazing, especially when I got to gaze out at St Paul's Cathedral and the Thames. However, some inconsistencies at the check-in process and dining options left me a bit disappointed compared to my previous experience.

The river view room was stunning and offered a fantastic view over the Thames. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep (I definitely felt well-rested!).
Service
7.0
While most staff were welcoming and attentive, I faced a few challenges during check-in when my room wasn’t ready. Although one staff member, Andre, was particularly helpful and professional, the overall reception experience lacked the proactive charm I expected.
Location

The hotel’s location on the South Bank is unbeatable! I found it very convenient for exploring key attractions and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere by the river (absolutely ideal for taking leisurely strolls).
Dining

Breakfast offered a great range of choices, but I was surprised that there were no made-to-order options like pancakes or eggs Benedict. The buffet was good but lacked a bit of the luxurious touch I hoped for.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel features stylish design and an excellent rooftop bar with creative cocktails (I enjoyed my time there!). Room service was handy, although I felt some areas could use more attention in cleanliness.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Sea Containers London. The location on the South Bank was simply perfect, making it easy to explore major attractions. The room I had offered a stunning river view and was quite spacious, but there were some frustrations like the check-in process and breakfast service that didn't quite meet expectations. Overall, it’s a stylish hotel with great potential but room for improvement.

Rooms

My room was quite spacious with a beautiful river view, though the decor felt a bit overdone. I also appreciated the comfortable bed, making for a decent night's sleep.
Service
7.0
The staff were mostly nice, but I did have some issues during check-in that felt a bit chaotic. The reception seemed overwhelmed, and the upgrade situation could have been clearer.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is a huge plus; right on the river, with easy access to many of London’s attractions like Covent Garden and Leicester Square just a short walk away.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast to be lacking quality and the buffet not as clean as I would have hoped. It felt like the dining experience didn’t match the standard set by the hotel’s other offerings.
Facilities
6.0
The spa is definitely a highlight, offering a great atmosphere for relaxation. However, additional services like the mini-bar felt outdated and overpriced. I would have preferred a more transparent experience.

I had a lovely stay at Sea Containers London, enjoying the spacious, clean rooms with great city views. The attentive staff really made my experience better, ensuring I felt welcomed throughout my visit. However, I did encounter some minor inconveniences, such as the check-in process being a bit slow and lack of clear signage. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I can't wait to come back!

Location

Situated right on the South Bank, the location provided easy access to major attractions. Although the trip from the tube involved a short walk, it was well worth it for those stunning riverside views.
Dining

I enjoyed a good breakfast each morning, with a good variety of options. Although it did feel a bit repetitive after a few days, the quality was still commendable overall.
Facilities

The hotel had several excellent amenities, including vibrant bars and social spaces. However, I did find some areas could use a little more upkeep, like the carpets in the rooms.

The hotel had a fantastic location by the Thames, with stunning views and a comfortable room, but the service varied quite a bit. I really enjoyed the cocktails at Lyaness, but my experience at breakfast and check-out left much to be desired. Overall, it was a good stay but with some noticeable ups and downs.

Rooms

My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, which made for a comfy stay. The bathroom was particularly impressive, and though I didn't have a direct view, I could see the London Eye and catch some lovely sunsets.
Service

The staff experience was quite hit and miss. While I received excellent service in the bar, the breakfast service was lacking, and the check-out experience was pretty unfriendly, which was disappointing.

Being right on the South Bank was a huge plus, as it made it super easy to explore major attractions nearby. The view from my room was decent too!
Dining

The food at the Sea Container restaurant was fantastic, and my cocktails at Lyaness were great. However, the breakfast menu left a lot to be desired—I found the vegan options particularly underwhelming.
Facilities

I loved the overall aesthetic of the hotel and the modern, stylish decor. However, it did feel like some amenities were a bit lacking for the price point, and communication about facilities could've been better.

I stayed at Sea Containers London for a special celebration, and while the location and style of the hotel were fantastic, the breakfast experience left much to be desired. I loved the beautiful views from my room overlooking the Thames and found the room itself to be spacious and comfortable. However, the service at breakfast was chaotic, which significantly impacted our overall enjoyment.
